Bulk Blown Wood Pellet Delivery

  1. Orders received are normally delivered Monday-Friday (9.00 – 5.00 pm – exceptions may occur due to customer access issues) within 7 working days from of point of order (exceptions may occur during peak periods such as Christmas, Easter etc.). Saturday deliveries may be possible during such times but at the discretion of Leinster Pellets Ltd.
  2. Customers must provide accurate information such as address and contact number and if not present ensure access is arranged (providing additional contact information) for Leinster Pellets Ltd. to affect delivery.
  3. Adequate access (sufficiently wide, reasonably level and free of obstacles) is a must for all deliveries whether bulk blown or palletised. This is the responsibility of the customer to ensure overhanging branches or other obstructions are removed prior to delivery.
  4. If access is compromised in any way (e.g. roadworks etc.) and delivery is unlikely, this must be communicated to Leinster Pellets Ltd. in advance of delivery otherwise a charge may apply where a truck is loaded and has arrived but is unable to deliver.
  5. Leinster Pellets Ltd. staff are not obliged to manoeuvre obstructions which may hamper delivery, this is the customer’s responsibility.
  6. Bulk delivery of fuel is by a pneumatic hose, the quantity shown by the on-board weight management system shall, for the purposes of the account, be accepted by the customer as the quantity delivered. The customer may check the weigh system on-board at any time of the delivery. Print outs of weights delivered may be available but in the event they are unavailable the customer will have had had visual confirmation of the weight delivered by checking the on-board weights management system
  7. All our wood pellets comply with WFQA Approval and certification and FSC standards which guarantee certified quality status and responsible forestry management applies to the product.
  8. The customer will be responsible for providing safe and suitable bulk storage and for ensuring that it will take the full quantity ordered and will indemnify Leinster Pellets Ltd. against damages, claims, expenses or costs which may arise as a result of the customer not observing these conditions.
  9. Leinster Pellets Ltd. invoice will be presented at time of delivery for signature. Payment will be necessary in advance of delivery or at time of delivery only (otherwise charges will apply for late payment).

Palletised Delivery

  1. Orders received are normally delivered Monday-Friday (9.00 – 5.00 pm – exceptions may occur due to customer access issues) within 7 working days from of point of order (exceptions may occur during peak periods such as Christmas, Easter etc.). Saturday deliveries may be possible during such times at the discretion of Leinster Pellets Ltd.
  2. Customers will be notified if a Courier will be utilised for their delivery in advance, otherwise please assume it will be Leinster Pellets Ltd. staff unless otherwise stated.
  3. Courier deliveries are small truck with manual tail lift and manual pallet truck as standard. Any other specialist requests (outside Leinster area may incur a charge e.g. Moffett delivery). Please note a manual pallet truck can only operate on level ground with a hard, smooth surface.
  4. Customers must provide accurate information such as address and contact number and if not present ensure access is arranged (providing additional contact information) for Leinster Pellets Ltd. or Courier to affect delivery.
  5. Customers will receive notification of delivery arrival time on delivery day itself by Leinster Pellets Ltd. drivers (this facility is by request only with courier companies and not under Leinster Pellets Ltd. control).

Drivers will always be as helpful as possible where conditions apply. Leinster Pellets Ltd. do not have authority or control over unique requests when the delivery is handled by courier.
  9. Your property must allow for a 7.5 tonne plus truck. Without adequate access your delivery will be to kerbside only. In the event of a delivery not being possible due to poor access or gravel drive (when delivery is being actioned by courier or outside the Leinster area) then the delivery will have to be “kerbside” (i.e. left as near to the property as possible).
  10. Free Moffett delivery as standard within Leinster area. Moffett delivery ensures delivery can be made even over rough and undulating terrain. These specialist machines can cope with gravel and most ground conditions. If outside Leinster area, delivery charges may apply. Contact Leinster Pellets Ltd. for further details quoting delivery location and conditions etc.
  11. Covered dry storage is essential for all Leinster Pellets Ltd. palletised products to maintain their integrity.
  12. All our products comply with FSC or PCFE standards which guarantee responsible forestry management applies to the product.
  13. Any delivery issues must be communicated at time of delivery and noted to Leinster Pellets Ltd. not any other party (i.e. courier).

Leinster Pellets Ltd. invoice will be presented at time of delivery for signature. Payment will be necessary in advance of delivery or at time of delivery only (otherwise charges will apply for late payment).
